Day 7: September 24 - Bonding Time

We didn't do a lot of work in the arena today. I feel like sometimes it is less productive to constantly work in the arena because the horse will get bored. I think this can also make a horse sour if they aren't ever given a break. So, today instead of just doing a bunch of work, I decided to just groom him and love on him. I spent an hour or so doing it, and in the end he looked so good! I do realize that it wasn't a super productive day for us, but I do feel like it is good to bond and get used to each other. It makes for a better relationship, and partnership with your horse.
